HIGH-QUALITY IDEAS TO HELP YOU GROW AS A PERSON

    Ways to Find Courage

Courage is more than just having confidence or getting rid of fear. It’s about doing what is needed despite the fear. Courage is an essential quality to develop if you want to build a successful career, business, and have a fabulous relationship with friends and family. Ready to get started? Here are ways you can begin finding the courage within yourself.

    IDEAS FROM ME

Identify What Is Holding You Back

Ask yourself bold and honest questions to discover what is holding you back. Why do you feel like you need to find more courage? Are there people or situations causing you to be fearful? Is it your lack of skills or knowledge? What are your fears and why do you fear these things? When you can identify the exact cause, you can create a solution.

    Experience More

Expand your comfort zone. What this means is you need to experience more life outside of things that you know. It’s normal to keep doing things that bring you joy or comfort. But the more you experience, the more you will understand other perspectives. Even if something seems scary on the surface, it’s often only due to a lack of experience. When you challenge yourself, it will allow you to experience your strength and courage.

    Learn Forgiveness

You must expect that you will fail or make a mistake at some point in your life. No one can get through life without it. Mistakes provide you with a chance to improve or discover new passions or hobbies. When you make a mistake, forgive yourself. Identify where you can improve but don’t harp or dwell on it without using the information to improve yourself.

What Advice Would You Give Friends?

Take a moment to put yourself in your friend’s shoes. If they were to come to you about this concern, what advice would you give them? It is likely because you care for your friend so much you won’t see them as anything but courageous why be harsher with yourself? Keep this in mind anytime you don’t believe in yourself.

    Play It Out and Practice

If certain events or situations prevent you from truly being yourself, a great way to get over this is to practice or play it out. For example, if you want more courage to ask your boss for a raise, act out the conversation you plan to have with your boss. Look at yourself in the mirror and practice assertive communication.

In the end, if you want to find more courage within yourself, you must act. Courage is no different than any other skill. If you ignore it or choose not to work on it, it will be harder to find and maintain.

    A QUESTION FOR YOU

Do you think you are at your optimal health right now?

    Work Smarter: Avoid Multi-tasking

Many people think that burning the candle at both ends means that they’re productive people. But the truth is, being productive has nothing to do with being busy. Being productive means that you get things done that impact the goals that you have set for yourself, whether it’s your personal life or business life. One of the biggest killers in our society of productivity is multitasking. If you really want to work smarter, avoid multitasking.

    IDEAS FROM ME

    Eliminate Distractions
Whether it’s junk piled up around the house, or your desk is cluttered at work, or that television blazing at all times of the day, or the continuous knocks on your door demanding your time — these distractions will prevent you from working at your highest capacity whether it’s mental or physical labor that you need to exert.

    Know Your Priorities
For every single goal you’ve made in life, you should have a list of priorities for each day so that you know what’s the most important thing to do that day. That way, if you get those two or three most essential and vital things accomplished, it will impact your goals profoundly.

    Learn the Power of No
When you start learning the value of your time, it gets easier to say no. Make no, a habit. Say no before you say yes so that you have time to look at your schedule and weigh whether the new thing really adds to your life and helps you reach your goals or not.

    Schedule Everything
Calendars and schedules are your best tactic for taking control of your time. Put everything from that hot soaking bath you want to take to reading bedtime stories to your kids in your calendar around your work tasks because that way, you can ensure you’re also living a balanced life as you become more productive.

Set Aside Time to Do Each Task
When you schedule each thing, don’t lie to yourself about how long it takes. It probably takes 15 minutes to make your bed, but about 30 minutes to read bedtime stories. If something takes four hours, give yourself four hours so that you really do have a chance to achieve your goals.

Use the Right Tools for Each Task
One time-saving and productivity tip that stands out for everyone is that you need to use the right tools for a task. If you use the right tools and resources, you’ll end up finishing faster and more accurately.

    Practice Mindfulness
The ability to truly experience each part of your life is why you want to become more mindful. Be aware of precisely what you are doing and feeling right now and stop thinking about what happens later. Knowing what you want to achieve and how you’re going to get there is as important as setting up the habits, systems, and processes to ensure success.

Working smarter requires that you understand that multitasking is not something anyone can do. It’s all a myth. You’ll do so much better and be so much more productive if you work smarter by avoiding multitasking.

    Use Systems and Processes
When you set up processes, and use systems in your daily life, and not just work-related things – you’ll find that your productivity increases exponentially. Check your mail the same each day, create habits around eating right, exercising, and working, and it’ll all start to feel natural and simple.

    QUOTE FROM OTHERS

American author, businessman, and former United States Senator and Congressman from North Dakota, Byron Dorgan on working smart:
“Working hard and working smart sometimes can be two different things.”

America’s greatest inventor, Thomas Alva Edison on the difference between working smart and hard:

“Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends, there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence and honest purpose as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing.”

    A QUESTION FOR YOU

How can I work more efficiently and smarter?

    Accessing Your Superconscious Mind

Your mind holds an amazing ability that you may not even be aware of. Depending on where you were born, you may have learned different philosophies that call the superconscious mind different terms and are thought of as mindfulness and heightened awareness that allows you to figure out things before you add your emotions to the equation.

Essentially the superconscious mind is truly limitless in scope. If you want to let go of limiting beliefs and open your life to the true potential of your life without restraint, learn how to access your superconscious mind so that you become ultra-aware of the various solutions for any problem.

    IDEAS FROM ME

    Learn How to Meditate
One of the best ways to access your superconscious mind is to learn how to meditate. There are different ways to meditate, and you may need to learn more than one way before you feel as if you’re accessing your superconscious mind. It’s not going to happen overnight.

    Try Hypnosis
For some people, it can help to learn and try hypnosis with a certified person who knows how to guide you properly. Don’t let this frighten you. It’s not like the magic shows and television shows where the hypnosis is controlling their subject. It really doesn’t work like that and is a much better way to move faster toward accessing your superconscious mind if you’re not getting there fast enough through meditation.

    Relax Your Mind and Body
The more you can learn relaxation techniques that calm your mind and your body, the easier it will be for you to access your superconscious mind when you are ready to. Focus on learning breathing techniques that can help such as triangular breathing that requires that you breathe in, hold, and breathe out at a similar count while clearing your mind.

    Practice Healthy Living
It’s hard to access your mind at all if you’re not eating right and living a healthy life. The thing is, you don’t have to go nuts, you just have to eat a basic minimally healthy diet in the right caloric makeup for your body’s needs and move, according to experts, at a moderate pace for at least 150 minutes a week during intentional exercise.

    Give Yourself a Break
Learning how to access your superconscious mind may take time for you to do. Don’t expect it to happen the first time you meditate or the first time you start learning about the ability. Instead, take your time to discover how this works so that you can really put your superconscious mind to work.

    Focus on Gratitude
Use a gratitude journal to get started, but in everyday life, start focusing on ways that you can be and express your gratitude. The more you focus on the good things in your life and around you the more good things that will happen.

    Practice Visualization
One of the best ways to ensure that you get the things you want out of your life is to get good at visualizing the things that you are working toward. When you can truly visualize every step that it takes to meet success, you’ll realize that you can do anything you set your mind to and reach your goals because you really believe it.

    Help Others
Anytime in your life that you feel stuck, and you cannot push forward to reach a goal or change something about yourself, get out of your own mind and start helping someone else. When you focus on others, it can really make a huge difference in your ability to feel grateful and to move forward.

This may seem like a new idea for you, but the truth is that almost all belief systems seek to access the superconscious mind either through meditation, prayer, fasting, or other means. They just use different terms. Don’t allow the terminology to get in the way of what could be the answer for you to move forward in your life. What’s more, is that there is also plenty of scientific evidence that it works to help you improve your life.
